Over the course of the history of process safety and security, various efforts have been made to help automate and streamline process hazard analyses (PHA) and security risk assessments (SRA). Recent efforts have improved and automated hazard analyses with the introduction of big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. These slides discuss various methods that can be used to automate the Hazard Analysis processes for PHA and SRA. These will improve and streamline the processes as well as make them more efficient. This presentation took place at the 2022 CCPS Global Conference on Process Safety & Big Data.
