Hydrogen's role in energy decarbonization comes with significant safety challenges due to its rapid growth and novel applications. Our message focuses on implementing a modern Process Safety Management (PSM) framework across the hydrogen lifecycle. This will help address these challenges and ensure a safer transition to hydrogen-based energy solutions. This talk was presented at the 8th CCPS Global Summit in Mumbai, India; the 4th European Conference on Plant & Process Safety in Barcelona, Spain; and the P2SAC Fall 2024 Conference at Purdue University.
